Description	:	Funeral services were held at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Cushing Sunday, July 18th at 2:30 p.m. for Mrs. Minnie Jepson, who passed away July 16th at Omaha. A short prayer service preceded the church services at the McIntyre-Jacobsen Fuenral Home at 1:45 p.m. The Rev Chris Jeppesen and student pastor, Lyle Kohler officiated. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery at St. Paul, with Eastern Star services at the grave-side. (Funeral details followed) Minnie Petersen, daughter of Nels and Rasmine Petersen, was born at Hjorsens, Denmark, Mar 15, 1883. When 2 years old, she immigrated to this country with her parents. They settled at Cushing, Nebraska, where she grew to woman-hood. On March 15, 1902 she was united in marriage to Andrew H. Jepson. They started keeping house in the Logan precinct and lived on the same farm for 40 years, until they were separated by Mr. Jepson's passing in 1942. She remained on the farm for 5 years after her husband's death and then moved to St. Paul in 1947, where she has made her home since. To this union five children were born, 3 daughters, Mrs. Alfred Johnson and Mrs. Raymond Forbes of St. Paul, and Mrs. W. R. Bartlett of Center, Colo; and two sons, Malven and Orval of Cushing. Mrs. Jepson was a most devoted mother, wife and friend. Her happiest moments were spent in company with her husband, children and their families. She made an earnest effort in every way to make life more pleasant for those about her. Mrs. Jepson was baptised and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and was a charter member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of Cushing. She greatly enjoyed her church work and was ever ready to undertake any task confronted her pertaining to her church. Mrs. Jepson was very active in the Rebekah Lodge, being a past Noble Grand; and she was also a member of the Eastern Star. Her husband, parents and two brothers preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing her five children, seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and also three sisters and one brother as well as a host of relatives and friends.
