Read More	Mrs. Lloyd Mauer dies at hospital; rites Thursday Mrs. Lloyd Mauer, 68, died at Sacred heart hospital Tuesday today, after an illness of 10 months. She had been a patient at the hospital for 17 days. Minnie Rose Kammerer was born May 20, 1896, at Burt, Iowa. She spent her childhood near Giard, Iowa, and came to Le Mars when she was 16 years old. her parents were the late Barbara Schiff Kammerer and Andrew Kammerer. Her marriage to Lloyd E. Mauer took place March 11, 1924, at the home of the bride in Le Mars. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the First Methodist church in Le Mars with Rev. Milo Morris officiating. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home. Survivors are her husband, L. E. Mauer, Le mars; seven children, Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) Tammes; and Mrs. Karl (Ruth) Schultz, both of Le Mars; Mrs. Kindall, (Carol) Strope, Moscow, Idaho; Mrs. Vard (Eloise) Meadow, American Falls, Idaho, & Robert B. Mauer, Le Mauer, Le Mars. There are 17 surviving grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Barbara and Anna Kammerer, both of Le Mars, and two brothers, David Kammerer of Monona and John Kammerer of Le Mars. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lydia; three brothers, Christ, Carl and Andrew. Mrs. Mauerer was a member of the First Methodist church, WSCS and Order of Eastern Star.
