She was formerly Miss Minnie Tiger, daughter of the late Wesley and Mahalla Tiger, of Califon, and resided all her life within a radius of five miles from where she was born. Mrs. Sliker is survived by three daughters; Mrs.Uzal Baldwin, Washington; Mrs. Howard Rinehart,of Quakertown, and Miss Annie Sliker, a teacher in the Wharton High School; and five sons, Theodore, a policeman at Plainfield; Lewis,of Union; Paul, of Bennettsville, N.C.; Harry, of Jersey City, and Oscar P.; of Califon. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs.Amanda Hoffman and Mrs. Lewis P.Salter, of Farmersville, and two brothers, Samuel Tiger, of Long Valley, and Raymond Tiger, of Califon,and 11 grandchildren, two of whom are serving in the Army and Navy. Easton Express Sliker Minnie 7/28/1944 p.12 Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Sliker,72, widow of Samuel Sliker, Califon, were held this afternoon at 2:30,at the lower Valley Presbyterian Church,Califon.The Rev.Edwin H.Brown, pastor,officiated.Burial was in Lower Valley Union cemetery, Califon. The pallbearers were nephews, Claude Tiger, Lester Hoffman,Norman Sliker, G.Edward Salter, Russell D. Hoffman and Wilbur Sliker. Mrs.Sliker died Monday evening at her home on Parsonage Heights,Califon.
