Description	:	Miriam Miller Miriam Miller, 80, of Middlebury, died at 2:00 AM on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the BRC Home in Middlebury. She had been in declining health for five years. She was born December 7, 1929 in Middlebury, to Menno and Libbie (Rhinesmith) Keim. On December 20, 1953 in Middlebury, she married Frank Miller. She was a teacher having taught four years at Osolo Elementary, she retired from the Middlebury Community School System where she taught at York Elementary for 20 years. Read More	Miriam Miller Miriam Miller, 80, of Middlebury, died at 2:00 AM on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the BRC Home in Middlebury. She had been in declining health for five years. She was born December 7, 1929 in Middlebury, to Menno and Libbie (Rhinesmith) Keim. On December 20, 1953 in Middlebury, she married Frank Miller. She was a teacher having taught four years at Osolo Elementary, she retired from the Middlebury Community School System where she taught at York Elementary for 20 years. She was a lifelong member of Forks Mennonite Church and enjoyed playing and teaching piano, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also taught Sunday school, was a church organist and volunteered for over 20 years at 10,000 villages. She was a 1947 graduate of Middlebury High School, a 1952 graduate of Goshen College, and received her Masters in Education from Ball State in 1971. Survivors include her husband, Frank Miller, a daughter, Annette (Mike) Neff of Goshen; two sons, Mike (Marcia) Miller and Brian (Kim) Miller both of Middlebury; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; four sisters, Martha Keim, Ruth Keim and Rachael (Dwight) Miller all of Goshen, Mary Miller of Pine Bluff, AK; a brother, Dan (Bette)Keim of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Wilbur, Walter, Ira, Paul and Marvin and one sister Katherine Hochstetler. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Tuesday, September 7, at Forks Mennonite Church, Middlebury. There will be a family graveside service on Wednesday, September 8 at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury prior to the 11:00 AM memorial service, at the church. Services will be conducted by Rev. Eldon Stoltzfus and Rev. Eugene Bontrager. Memorials may be given to Middlebury Food Pantry or Mennonite Central Committee.
