Besides his loving wife, Mirza is survived by his children, Alan (Norma)of Raymond, Murray (Lavonne) of Cardston, Dalin (Theodora) of Leavitt, Ron (Susan) of Raymond, Gary (Barbara) of Taber, DeVar (Elaine) of Airdrie and Julie (Gary) Bradfield of Calgary. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one sister, Elaine Meeks. Mirza was born on February 2, 1913 in Raymond to Lambert and Mary Powelson Pack. He received his early education in Raymond and then went to the U of A where he graduated in Chemical Engineering. He worked in Sudbury, Ontario for 4 years then returned to Raymond and farmed the rest of his life. He was a member of the Raymond Rotary Club, sat on the County of Warner Council and was instrumental in the building of the new schools in Raymond. He has been an active member of the church throughout his life. He enjoyed nature, hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Funeral Services will be held a The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Raymond Stake Centre on Wednesday, November 25, 1992 at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Brett Drewry officiating.
