She was married to George W. Clendenen December 25, 1888.After some time spent in Poweshiek County and southern Missouri, they established their home on a farm near Troy in Davis County where they lived the past 51 years. She was married to George W. To this union were born three children: Edith Hamilton, Lima, Ohio; Dale of Milton and Ruth Barnett of Ottumwa. Mollie became a Christian in early life and lived her life according to the teachings of the Bible. She was a kind and devoted wife and mother and a friend to all who knew her. Besides her children, she leaves her husband, four grandchildren and one great grandchild, four sisters and a number of nieces and nephews. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Wagler Funeral Home, August 14, 1950 at 3:00 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Carl Wilson. Burial was at Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.
