Callahan was born May 29, 1913, in Hamburg, Iowa, to Mon and Eva (Marvin) Callahan. She grew up in Hamburg and later moved to Fremont. She married Wesley F. Ringle on April 16, 1933, in Fremont; he died Nov. 13, 1998. She and her husband owned Ringle Salvage Yard. She was a former member of the Free Methodist Church in Fremont where she also was a Sunday school teacher. In Nebraska City, she attended the First Baptist Church. She also was a member of Fremont Alliance Church in Fremont. Survivors include: a son, David Ringle of Fremont; a sister, Doris Osbon of Nebraska City; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son and four sisters. The Rev. Keith Hunt of First Baptist Church in Nebraska City will officiate Tuesday?s service. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation also will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
