She was born Nov. 14, 1920, in West Point to Theodore and Caroline (Schmuecker) Oligmueller. She was raised in West Point and moved to Los Angeles in 1958. She moved to Fremont in 1987 and returned to California in June 2000. She married Wilfred A. Meister on April 21, 1948, in St. Charles. He died Jan. 11, 2000. Meister, 88, of Corona, Calif., formerly of Fremont, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, in Corona. She was born Nov. 14, 1920, in West Point to Theodore and Caroline (Schmuecker) Oligmueller. She was raised in West Point and moved to Los Angeles in 1958. She moved to Fremont in 1987 and returned to California in June 2000. She married Wilfred A. Meister on April 21, 1948, in St. Charles. He died Jan. 11, 2000. While living in Fremont, she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley (and husband, Joseph) Burrascano of Corona and Linda (and husband, Tom) Herron of Carson City, Nev.; two sisters, Agatha Ortmeier of Fremont and Hilda Hansen of Pender; a brother, Albert Oligmueller of West Point; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William and Anton Oligmueller; and a sister, Ann Meister. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont with the Rev. Ron Battiato officiating. A rosary will be said at 9:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Closed casket visitation will be one hour prior to service time Friday at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials may be directed to Calvary Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice. In lieu of thank yous, a donation will be made in Monica's memory. Arrangements in California were by Walker Family Funeral Services. Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of local arrangements.
