Description	:	Morris was the first born child to Leslie Oliver Jahnke and Myrtle Mae Liddick. He lived many of his younger years in Red Oak, Montgomery Co., Iowa. About 1921, His parents moved the family to Genoa, Lincoln Co., Colorado. In 1930, he and Mabel were accounted for twice; once in Kansas and again in Colorado. However, his mother accounted for all her kids, even though they were not there. His sister Helen was in Nebraska but she was accounted for in Colorado. In 1939, we find Morris and Mabel at 251 Bannock in Denver, CO where Morris works as an attendant at Colo & Utah Coal Company and nothing had changed in the 1940 census. Over the next few years they still lived on Bannock and he worked as a weighmaster at Colo & Utah Coal Company. In 1959 he and Mabel had moved to 1647 S. Lincoln in Denver and he was working as a weighmaster at Ready Mix Cement Company and within the year he changed jobs and was working as a painter. As a hobby Morris was a rodeo clown and clowning was a huge part of his life.
