Description	:	Morris Gene Litzenberger, son of the late Conrad C. and Grace Mary (Doebbeling) Litzenberger, was born August 28, 1935 at Scott City, Scott Co., Kansas, and passed away July 1, 1996 at Share Medical Center in Alva, Woods County, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 3 days. Morris attended rural schools in Ness County, Kansas and Barber College in Wichita, Kansas. On June 17, 1956, he was married to Coette Elaine Strube, the daughter of Benjamin Theodore and Thelma Elaine Jacobs Strube. They were married in the Methodist Church in Claflin, Kansas. On June 17, 1956, he was married to Coette Elaine Strube, the daughter of Benjamin Theodore and Thelma Elaine Jacobs Strube. They were married in the Methodist Church in Claflin, Kansas. He worked as a barber and a truck driver for a time. They lived in Great Bend Kansas until 1973 when they moved to Waynoka where they established Litzenberger Construction Company and Exploration, and also engaged in farming and ranching. They were members of the United Methodist Church in Waynoka. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott Allen Litzenberger, on April 13, 1978, two brothers, Alfred and Richard Litzenberger, and one infant sister, Marjorie Lois Litzenberger. He is survived by his wife, Coette, of the home, one son, David and his wife, Susan, of Waynoka, Oklahoma, one daughter, Shelley Fees and her husband, Scott, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and five grandchildren, Karissa, Benjamin, Heath and Danielle Litzenberger, and Jessica Fees. He is also survived by his brother, Clifford Litzenberger and his wife, Sherrie of Edmond, Oklahoma, and three sisters, Janice Bierberle and her husband, Lee, of Claflin, Kansas, Arlene Miller of Northglen, Colorado, and Karen Taylor and her husband, David, of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Funeral services were held at the First United Methodist Church of Waynoka, Oklahoma at 10:00 a.m. on July 3, 1996. His burial was at 3:30 p.m. that same day at the Claflin Cemetery in Claflin, Kansas.
