Mr Pease had not been well for weeks, but he was able to attend to his duties around his small farm and he was about town as usual Saturday and called at many stores in the village. Mr Pease was a native of Thompsonville and was born January 21, 1844, a son of Eli and Lydia Pease. He spent his whole life in Thompsonville during the greater part of which he followed the occupation of market gardener. He is survived by his widow, who was Martha Allen, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Becket Allen Two sons: Mervin K Pease and E Linn Pease, fish and game warden for Hartford County. Burial in Enfield Street Cemetery
