Description	:	Morris "Moe" Wolken, 78, of Marshalltown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Dillon. Born on September 9, 1942, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Raymond and Henrietta (Meyers) Wolken. Morris grew up on the family farm near Gilman and graduated from LeGrand High School in 1960. On April 18, 1970, he married Lynda Lukehart at Trinity Lutheran Church of Dillon. Born on September 9, 1942, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Raymond and Henrietta (Meyers) Wolken. Morris grew up on the family farm near Gilman and graduated from LeGrand High School in 1960. On April 18, 1970, he married Lynda Lukehart at Trinity Lutheran Church of Dillon. Morris farmed for nearly 50 years. During this time he raised cattle and hogs along with corn and soybeans. He was a dedicated husband, father, and man of faith as a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Dillon. Morris was known for his big smile, even bigger heart, and his love for the Iowa Hawkeyes. As a season ticket holder for football, he loved taking friends and family to Kinnick Stadium. Morris also stayed busy on his cell phone recruiting for countless fishing trips, golf outings, and card playing. In recent years, he and Lynda enjoyed spending winters at their home in Florida. His kindness and loving spirit will be dearly missed. Surviving his wife of 51 years, Lynda; his children, Lisa Diers of Marshalltown, Lori (Tim) Wignall of State Center, and Jim (Nonie) Manker of San Diego, California; his grandchildren, Nick (Michelle) Diers, Jena (Travis) Hunt, Maddison, Alexa and Zoey Wignall, and Adam, Andrew and Nash Manker; four great-grandsons, Mason and Jordy Hunt and Lawson and Weston Diers; his siblings, Linda Wheater of LeGrand, Ellen (Russ) Mann of Gilman, and Jim (Linda) Wolken of Gilman; and his brother-in-law, Greg (Cheryl) Lukehart of Marshalltown. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Morris was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Dan Wheater and John (Mary) Lukehart, and four nieces, Stacey Mann, Hayley Mann, Chloe Kline, and Angela Lukehart. Fred Berry officiating. He was laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery of Dillon in Dillon, Iowa. Pallbearers were Nick Diers, Nate Lukehart, Joe Diers, Jon Wolken, Scott Wheater, Wade Wolken, Travis Hunt, Brian Carlson, and Kyle Mann. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Rabey, Gary Rutherford, Bob Roberts, Paul Wolken, Dave Jacobson, Danny Wolken, Larry Plum, Greg Davidson, Dennis Nuese, Todd Long, Mary Kingery, and John Gebal. Along with family and friends, groups from Trinity Lutheran Church of Dillon attended. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Morris and his family.
