Ash took place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his home, 31 Lundberg street, and was largely attended by relatives and friends. Gen. Howard, officer of the day; Edith Prescott Wallcott Auxiliary 3, USWV, was represented by Anna Mahoney, president; Mary Prescott, CP; Ellen Klttredge, Jeannie Everett, Elizabeth Dodge, Mary McBride, Mary Loucraft, Elizabeth Mitchell, Viola Pingree, May Fisher, Katherine Frawley, Katharine Collins, Anna Dempsey, Anna Ward, Katharine Cheney, Frances Mason, Susie Tobin and Mary McHugh; Unity lodge, Knights of Pythias, by Leslie Keech, Harry MacPhee, Fred Ireland. Josiah Dow, Kenneth MacAuley and Wallace Langell. This delegation also acted as bearers! There was also present a representation from True Blue Mothers. The services were conducted by Rev. John T. Ullom, pastor of the Matthews Memorial church. There were many floral tributes. Burial took place in the family lot in the Edson cemetery, where the committal service was read by Mr. Ullom The burial-service of the United Spanish War Veterans was exemplified by the officers of the Gen. Adelbert Amos Camp, and there were three volleys by a firing squad composed of John H Ward, PC, George Loucraft, CS, Fred Cheney, adjutant Frank Dodge, PC, William M. Prescott PC, Christopher J. Downey, PC, Ishmael H. Park, PC, and Comrade Bernard E. Park, under the command of Alex A. Jewell, James P. Grant, John P. Smith, John H. and Herbert W. Home. Burial look place in the family lot In the Edson cemetery. The funeral arrangements were In the charge of Funeral Director William H. Saunders. LOWELL SUN March 23, 1931
