Description	:	Keefer, Moses, born Oct. 27, 1836, died June 4, 1918, at the home of his son, C. M. Keefer, of Alvo, Cass County, Nebr. He united with the Church of the Brethren about forty years ago. He was a man of strong conviction and served in the office of deacon for more than thirty-three years. He married Mary Barnhizer in 1856. In 1870 he moved from Northern Illinois to Nebraska. Hi wife preceded him about seven years ago. To them were born ten children, seven of whom survive. Besides his children he leaves thirty-three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
