Ludwig of Thomaston [ME. int.], May 6, 1830.* In 1866 Moses published "Ludwig Genealogy: Sketch of Joseph Ludwig" in Augusta, Maine. It was the first book on a Waldoboro, Maine German family and one of the earlier genealogical books published in America.	Moses was a Physician and one of the founders of Thomaston Academy in 1844.
