Description	:	SHANK Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine E. Shank were conducted last Saturday afternoon in the Methodist Church at Swanton, Md., with Rev. C. W. Fraker, pastor of the Swanton United Brethren Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Mr. Crites, pastor of the Loch Lynn United Brethren Church. Burial was in the Deer Park Cemetery. Mrs. Shank was a member of the Swanton United Brethren Church having been received into the Church in 1898 by Rev. Young. She was one of the founders of the Ladies Aid Society and had always been a very active church worker. She was well... Read More	SHANK Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine E. Mrs. Shank was a member of the Swanton United Brethren Church having been received into the Church in 1898 by Rev. Young. She was one of the founders of the Ladies Aid Society and had always been a very active church worker. She was well known throughout the County and her passing is mourned by a host of friends. She is survived by her husband, H. H. Shank, Swanton; two sons, Samuel R., Cumberland, and Raymond D., Keyser; two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Wigfield, Cresaptown and Mrs. Arthur H. Green, Swanton; two brothers, George Ralston, Detroit, and Samuel Ralston, pastor of the United Brethren Church, Windber, Pa., and four sisters, Mrs. Maude Strips, Akron, Mrs. Ada Craigo, Youngwood, Pa.; Mrs. Helen Swift, Johnstown, Pa.; and Mrs. Blanche Myers, Hazelwood, Pa. ***********************************************From the Garrett County Records July 15, 1937 ***********************************************
