Description	:	The community was shocked and saddened when word was received of the death of Dianna Loeffler Pech of a gunshot wound at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Loeffler of Keosauqua, Iowa. The head wound was self-inflicted with a 20 gauge shotgun and she was found in the basement of her parent's home and had left a note. Read More	The community was shocked and saddened when word was received of the death of Dianna Loeffler Pech of a gunshot wound at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Loeffler of Keosauqua, Iowa. The head wound was self-inflicted with a 20 gauge shotgun and she was found in the basement of her parent's home and had left a note. She was born March 26, 1947 in Fairfield to Darrell and Laura Reddick Loeffler. She grew up in Keosauqua and graduated from Van Burren Community High School in 1965. She attended the American Institute of commerce in Davenport graduating in 1966, following which she was employed by the Davenport Chamber of Commerce and the Peat, Marwick, and Mitchell accounting firm. On April 22, 1967 she married Robert Peck at the Congregational Church, Keosauqua, Van Buren County, Iowa.They lived in Davenport and in California and in October, 1974 after a divorce, she returned to make her home in Keosauqua. She leaves three children, Angela Kay, Bradley Robert and LaDawn Renee, all at home; her parents; three sisters, Darlene Jemison of St. Charles, MO; Donna Murphy of Keosauqua and Dixie Carruthers of Emporia, Kansas, other rlatives and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 10, 1975 at the Keosauqua Congregational Church with the Rev. Harold Schnedler, Pastor, officiating. Interment was in Purdom Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Iowa.
