Description	:	Mrs. Flossie Worley Pope, 84, of 3571 US Hwy, 421 N., Clinton, NC died Saturday at her home. Mrs. Pope, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Purley Worley and Bertie Grantham Worley and wis the widow of William Vinson Pope. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Newton Worley. She retired from Clinton Apparel Sewing Plant and was a member of Owens Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Read More	Mrs. Flossie Worley Pope, 84, of 3571 US Hwy, 421 N., Clinton, NC died Saturday at her home. Mrs. Pope, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Purley Worley and Bertie Grantham Worley and wis the widow of William Vinson Pope. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Newton Worley. She retired from Clinton Apparel Sewing Plant and was a member of Owens Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Annette Parrish and husband Willie and Angela Anders and husband Sam, all of Clinton, NC; a sister, Jackie Reeves Matthews of Salemburg, NC; five grandchildren, Lawrence Parrish and wife Carolyn of Clinton, NC; Leigh Goble and husband Brian of Fuquay-Varina, NC; Nicholas Anders and wife Karen of Burlington, NC; Christy, William and Stephen Anders all of Clinton, NC; six great grandchildren, Austin Parrish Goble, Anna Stewart Goble, Matthew Parrish, Caitlin Parrish, Haley Parker, and Sidney Parker, and special caregiver, Bertha Pope. The family recieved friends Monday evening after the services at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Annette. The funeral services were held at 7pm, Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Trodgen and Rev. Kim Strickland officiating. Interment services and burial was made at 11am, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Clinton, NC.
