Description	:	Margaret (Judson) Price Hendricks was born somewhere near Mantua Township, Monroe County, Iowa, to Daniel and Caroline (Medlem) Judson. While she was young, the family moved to live in or near Chillicothe, Wapello County, Iowa. Somehow, Margaret met John Price (August 1822-3 Aug. 1890) somewhere because he was originally from Posey County, Indiana, whose family moved to Van Buren Co., Iowa, first, and then to Davis County, Iowa, and because he was so much older than she was. While she was young, the family moved to live in or near Chillicothe, Wapello County, Iowa. Somehow, Margaret met John Price (August 1822-3 Aug. 1890) somewhere because he was originally from Posey County, Indiana, whose family moved to Van Buren Co., Iowa, first, and then to Davis County, Iowa, and because he was so much older than she was. They got married on May 22, 1873, in Ottumwa, Wapello County, Iowa, when he was nearly 51 years old and she, nearly 22. They had four children, but one of them died in infancy and was apparently buried at Myrick Cemetery. Other than this infant, their son Daniel Price was the only one buried there. The other two children, Cyrus W. Price and Caroline M. (Price) Hendricks, are buried on the other side of Chillicothe at Chillicothe Cemetery. After John Price died on Aug. 3, 1890, and was buried at Myrick Cemetery, his wife continued to live in Chillicothe and around 1896, she married a widower named William A. Hendricks (who, a Civil War veteran, was also buried at Myrick next to his 1st wife Hariette [Odenbaugh] Hendricks). Together, they had no children at all, but they shared several SAME grandchildren because William's son Joseph Albert Hendricks married Margaret's only daughter Caroline Price. After William A. Hendricks died in 1900, Margaret Judson Price Hendricks lived on Market Street in Chillicothe until her own death in 1931. She, together with her three children, owned acres of land in Davis County and Wapello County, Iowa, originally bought by her father Daniel Judson and her 1st husband John Price (I have seen these land deeds myself in the courthouses in both counties). But she and her children sold these lands shortly after John Price's death but continued to own some lands in Wapello County. Her father Daniel Judson had bought and later sold some acres of land in Monroe County before and after her birth. Special note: Margaret was my great-great-grandmother and her older sister, Mary [Judson] Hartley (wife of Almond L. Hartley), was my great-great-great-grandmother. Therefore, I am descended twice from Daniel and Caroline (Medlem) Judson, who both are buried at Myrick Cemetery.
