She was preceded in death by her husband, George William Seay, married 1940 a.d. ; parents, Jesse and Fannie Harris; sisters, Leona Wilfong and Eula Novell; and brother, J.L. Harris Jr. She is survived by her sons, Grady Seay and Billy Seay; sister, Francis Witt; grandchildren, Lesley Bell, William Seay, Clay Seay, and Katie Seay; and great-grandchildren, Lillian Bell, Phin Bell, Eli Seay, and Fisher Seay. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist church and secretary for Nelson County... Harris Jr. She is survived by her sons, Grady Seay and Billy Seay; sister, Francis Witt; grandchildren, Lesley Bell, William Seay, Clay Seay, and Katie Seay; and great-grandchildren, Lillian Bell, Phin Bell, Eli Seay, and Fisher Seay. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist church and secretary for Nelson County Cablevision for over 30 years. Her dearest friend was Betty Jane McClellan. She enjoyed dancing in her younger days and visiting with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of The Laurels of Charlottesville and the staff of Cornell 2 at Martha Jefferson Hospital for their loving care. Family night was held at the Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, with services at Oak Hill Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Pastor Bryan Painter officiated. Interment followed at the Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Oak Hill Baptist Church designated cemetery fund, 248 Davis Creek Lane, Lovingston, VA 22949.
