Mrs. Babb was born in Union County, SC February 14, 1925, a daughter of the late Dedie Lawson and Cornelia O'Shields Lawson. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from United Merchants-Union Plant. Mrs. Babb was predeceased by four sisters: Lila Lawson, Lillian Shaw, Mae Flora Crisp, and Nina Lawson; and four brothers: Foster Lawson, J.C. Lawson, Martin Lawson and Maurice Lawson.
