Born in Riverport, she was a daughter of the late Bennett and Ester (Creaser) Nauss. Muriel grew up in Bridgewater, a graduate from Bridgewater Academy. She went on to work as a bookkeeper. Her interest in Genealogy resulted in the recording of both the Nauss and Knickle family trees. Muriel also had a great passion for arts and crafts. Read More	Muriel Luetta Knickle, 100, of Lunenburg, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Riverport, she was a daughter of the late Bennett and Ester (Creaser) Nauss. Muriel grew up in Bridgewater, a graduate from Bridgewater Academy. She went on to work as a bookkeeper. She is survived by sisters, Marie Silver, Mahone Bay, Verna Lohnes, Liverpool; brother, Ronald (Dona), Green Bay; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon (Jim) Knickle, infant son, Ronald Gordon Knickle; brothers, Murray, Russell, Frederick, Clarence, Charles and sisters, Minnie and Jean. Friends are invited to share their memories of Muriel with her family during visitation at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Muriel’s life will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg. Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. Family flowers only.
