Burial will take place at the New Richmond cemetery." ---------- St. Petersburg [Florida] Times, 19 Dec 1938: "SECOND CRASH VICTIM DIES Mrs. Tribby Loses Fight For Life After waging a week-long fight for life, Mrs. Muriel Tribby, 225 Twentieth avenue north, died last night at Mound Park hospital, second victim of an automobile accident at Fifty-fourth avenue north and Disston boulevard a week ago yesterday. Mrs. Tribby came here from Evansville, Ind. She is survived by a five-year-old daughter, Barbara, also confined to the hospital by injuries received in the accident; and two brothers, both of Evansville. John T. Detchon, 225 Twentieth avenue north, with whom Mrs. Tribby and her daughter were riding when the accident occurred, is still under treatment at Mound Park hospital, but his condition is not considered critical. Charles Albert Van Sieleghem, 24-year-old salesman who was driving the car with which Detchon's car collided, succumbed to his injuries Monday afternoon without regaining consciousness. Although Magistrate Joe E. Carpenter, in whose district the accident occurred, could not be reached last night for confirmation, it was believed that an inquest into the two deaths will be held. Earlier, Magistrate Carpenter said he was awaiting the outcome of Mrs. Tribby's death before summoning a coroner's jury. Magistrate John T. Fisher, who investigated the accident due to the temporary unavailability of Magistrate Carpenter, said last night he believed the circumstances of the accident made an inquest necessary."
