A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in St. Matthews, with the Rev. Robert Frederick officiating. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth R. Hammond of Orangeburg and Danny R. Hammond of Florida; six grandchildren; one half-brother, Martin (Lauria) Hair of Winnsboro. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Burts Hair, 77 Dalton Lane, St. Matthews. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210, or to Gethsemane Baptist Church, Rt. 2 Box 249, St. Matthews, SC 29135.
