Description	:	Myrle B. Trask, 95, of Groton, died October 31, 2002 at Beverly Healthcare Center in Groton. Her funeral will be 1 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 4, at the United Methodist Church in Groton. The Rev. Grant Piehl will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, under the direction of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chape, Groton. Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 3. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church on Monday. Myrle Blanche Trask was born on February 16, 1907 to Frank N. and Minnie (Runte) Anderson. She attended rural schools and later went to Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen. Myrle taught at several rural schools before her marriage to Floyd Albert Trask on May 16, 1934 in Aberdeen. The couple moved to a farm near Groton during the 1940s and resided there for many years. Floyd died on July 26, 1976. Myrle was a member of the United Methodist Church and UMW in Groton. She had been active in the Republican Committee for Women, the Order of Eastern Star and the Lucky 13 Card Club. Myrle was chairman of the Groton Centennial Dress and Bonnets Committee. She enjoyed cards and knitting. Survivors include her son' Allen (Becky) Trask of Worland, WY, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, one son and one brother. Casketbearers will be Michael Trask, Thomas Trask, Duane Trask, Patricia Trask, Ryan Anderson, Betty Hobart, Paige Anderson, Betty Knepke. Family prefers memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 4305 S. Louise Ave. Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
