Description	:	MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Myrle E. Lewis, 92, Muscatine, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at her home. Services are 10 a.m. Monday, April 26, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Wade Duroe will officiate. Casket bearers are Rodger Horst, Andrew Horst, Lauren Jarrett, James Panozzo, Steve Jacky and Tom Miller. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Unity Home Care or the Women of the Moose. Mrs. Lewis was born Oct. 4, 1911 in Keithsburg, Ill., the daughter of Onel C. and Nellie A. Bower Clark. She married Walter E. Lewis May 7, 1932, in Muscatine. She was employed at the Hawkeye Button Factory and later she owned and operated Lewis Market with her husband. She was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose. In earlier years, she enjoyed playing cards, sewing and needlework. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed their visits. Survivors include a son, Donald Lewis of Muscatine; a son-in-law, Rodger Horst of Muscatine; two granddaughters, Julie Jacky and husband, Steve, of Schaumberg, Ill., and Sheila Panozzo and husband, James, of Orland Park, Ill.; a great-granddaughter, Cara Panozzo of Orland Park; a great-grandson, Tanner Panozzo of Orland Park; a brother, Charles Clark and wife, Mary, of Paradise, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Harold Bingaman of Paradise; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Bonnie Horst and Rose Emily Lewis; a son, James Edward Lewis; a brother, Ray Clark; and a sister, Carrie Bingaman.
