Description	:	Myrle (Mrs. J. Craig ) Graham 89, Grandview Heights, formerly of 610 W. Main St., died Thursday evening at the nursing home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Worthie Usher officiating. Burial will follow at the Albion Cemetery. The Pursel-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 26, 1895, at Albion, the daughter of Fred G. and Maude Crouse Houghton. She was graduated from Albion High School in 1913 and attended Drake University in Des Moines. She married J. Craig Graham June 23, 1917, at Albion and they lived on the Graham farms for four years. They moved to Des Moines, where they lived for a year and a half, then came to Marshalltown in 1923, where Mr. Graham was with Lennox Heating & Air-Conditioning Inc. In 1950 the family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, for 11 years, returning to Marshalltown when Mr. Graham retired. Mrs. Graham was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marshalltown and was on the YWCA Board for two terms. She was a member of the Marshalltown Area Community Hospital Auxiliary, a 61-year member of the Spinning Wheel Chapter, DAR; a sustaining member of the YWCA, a member of the Souvenir Club, Early American Glass Club and Elmwood Country Club. She is survived by a son, James C. Graham, Orleans, Cape Cod, Mass. ; a sister Mrs. Dorothy Metcalf, Butler, PA; a brother, Rex G. Houghton, Marshalltown, five grandchildren, three great -grand-children and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters in 1981. from Marshalltown IA newspaper Times Republican dated June 21 1984
