Myrna Jean, daughter of the late Larry Marshall and Mrs. Clara Marshall was born in Cedar Rapids, Nebr., on October 13, 1924, and moved with her parents to Pierce when a small child. She graduated from Pierce High with the Class of 1943 and was baptized at the Methodist church in Pierce. On Sept. 29, 1945, she was married to Roy Bargstadt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bargstadt, and for a short time lived in Plainview before moving to Norfolk where they had since made their home and where they united with Mt. Olive Church. She had been ill the past eight years with Hodgkin's disease but as long as she was able, cheerfully cared for her family. She suffered greatly during the last weeks before her passing. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, David, 13, and a daughter, Nancy, 9. Also her mother, Mrs. Marshall and two brothers, Arthur and Richard, all of Pierce, and one sister, Mrs. Jack (Marian) McKibben, Norfolk. all spelling and punctuation as it appeared in the paper.
