Description	:	Myron Delos Urban, son of Harvey J. and Jane (Poulisse) Urban, was born November 19, 1929 in Huron, SD. He grew up in the Broadland/Huron, SD area. He received his education at Hitchcock, SD. He then farmed near Broadland with his father and brother. Myron entered the U.S. Navy on December 28, 1950 at Omaha, NE. He served on the U.S.S. Piedmont during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge on October 11, 1954 at San Diego, CA he returned to farming. Read More	Myron Delos Urban, son of Harvey J. and Jane (Poulisse) Urban, was born November 19, 1929 in Huron, SD. He grew up in the Broadland/Huron, SD area. He received his education at Hitchcock, SD. He then farmed near Broadland with his father and brother. Myron entered the U.S. Navy on December 28, 1950 at Omaha, NE. He served on the U.S.S. Myron was united in marriage with Carol Finch on February 22, 1958 in Tyler, MN. The couple farmed for a time before moving into Huron. Myron then began his career as a truck driver and also worked at other jobs. They moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 1965. Myron worked at Midwest Coast Transport as a driver and instructor before retiring. Myron was a life member of John M. Bliss VFW Post 628 and a member of American Legion Post 15, both in Sioux Falls. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Carol; three children, Ron Urban, Sioux Falls, SD, Craig Urban, Sioux Falls, SD, Vicky Urban-Reasonover and her husband, Tracy, Parker, SD; nine grandchildren, Angel, Amber, Amanda, Nikki, Lee, Terese, Dallas, Bryce, Jamy; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Myron was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Cloyd Urban.
