Read More	Obituary: - Myrtis Jean Berringer Age 91 of Northwest, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, June 10, 2019 in Harbour View Haven Home for special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Bay du Nord, N.L. on April 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Olive (Hillier) Poole. Myrtis was a lifelong member of Northwest United Baptist Church where she served as church clerk and choir member for many years. She was a life member of the Women's Missionary Society and supported the work of the church in many other ways. Myrtis was employed at Harbour View Haven for 13 years, working in pa tient care and as a seamstress. Myrtis possessed a deep love and respect for all people which moved her to serve her community by volunteering at the Bridgewater Food Bank, Harbour View Haven, LaHave Manor and the Lunenburg Veterans Unit. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She especially cherished her times with her grandchildren. Myrtis was a golden thread of love spun invisibly through all our hearts and lives. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Aubrey; and brothers, Bertram and Reginald. Friends are invited to share their memories of Myrtis with her family during visitation on Wednesday, June 19th, from 7-9 p.m. in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. 3, Lunenburg. Memorial service to celebrate Myrtis' life will be held on Thursday, June 20th, at 2 p.m. in Northwest United Baptist Church, Northwest, Rev. Gloria Churchill officiating. Interment will be in Northwest Cemetery.
