Johnson, Senior and Walter Buenneke. Interment was in the Coon Rapids Cemetery. Myrtle Adele Watrous was born October 11th, 1892 in Guthrie County, Iowa. At the age of two she came to Coon Rapids with her parents where she attended school and grew to womanhood. She married Earl Bower in 1909 and they had one daughter, Mrs. Carroll Johnston (Cletus) Adams home she had lived for the past eight years. Mrs. Bower was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Doris Watrous. She passed away quite suddenly on Tuesday of last week. She was a member of the Coon Rapids Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Beside her daughter she is survived by two brothers, Leo Watrous of Coon Rapids and Floyd Watrous of El Monte, California. Also by three grandchildren Sonnie Lee, Barbara Jean and Bruce Bower Johnston and by six nephews and nieces: Mrs. Alfred Rue, Alhambra, California, Mrs. Harold Pomeroy, Dedham, Lyle Watrous, Coon Rapids, Mrs. Kenneth Wood, Des Moines, Mrs. Bill French, Ventura and Richard Van House Coon Rapids.
