Description	:	Mrs. Myrtle Messmore, one of the active and Christian women of the city, died at her home on North Conde street shortly after noon Saturday. She had been in declining health for many months. Mrs. Messmore was born in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of John B. and Sidena Aldridge, and came to Tipton with her parents when she was six years old. She had been in declining health for many months. Mrs. Messmore was born in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of John B. and Sidena Aldridge, and came to Tipton with her parents when she was six years old. She graduated from the Tipton high school with the class of 1905. She married Ernest Orval Messmore on August 27, 1906. Mrs. Messmore was an active woman in the social affairs of the community and for the past two years she had been a business partner with Mrs. Will Havens in the Ocie & Myrtle Dress Shop on East Jefferson street. Survivors include the mother Mrs. Sidena Aldridge, with whom she made her home; three sisters, Mrs. William Lankford, Mrs. W.G. Yetman and Mrs. John Thomas.
