I have not been able to find a marriage record for them, but in the 1910 Census for Elm, Putnam County, Missouri, they stated that they had been married for one year. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Baughman, she was born in Chariton, Mo., on Dec. 16, 1891. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 20 years and was a member of the Bible Baptist church. Surviving are five sons, Kyle Conger of Eunice, N.M., Keith Conger of Burlington, Dallas Traxler of Kansas City, Mo., and Charles and Burdean Traxler of Ottumwa; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Green of Springfield, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Lille Terry of Centerville, Mrs. Maggie Terry of Exline and Mrs. Blanche Maring of Kansas. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Pierson; a sister, and five brothers. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bible Baptist church with the Rev. Billy Pool, pastor in, charge. Burial will be in Mt. Herman cemetery at Chariton, Mo. The casket will remain at the Johnson funeral chapel until 11 a.m. Thursday when it will be taken to the church.
