Description	:	Myrtle H. Bokker was born to parents Harry and Ada Bokker March 4, 1915, on the family farm in Logan Township. She attended the Pleasant View Country School and later graduated from Dell Rapids Public High School. Myrtle married Gilbert J. Kringen on July 23, 1938, on her parents farm in Logan Township. After their marriage they farmed Southeast of Dell Rapids for 53 years. Gib died on November 2, 1994. Grateful for having shared her life are three sons: Grant and his wife Sharon, Garretson; Ben and his wife Elaine, Baltic; Harry and his wife Linda, Houston, Texas; six daughters: Mrs. Martin (Eleanor) Morse, Madison, Mrs. Emmitt (Karen) Bufkin, Beaufort, South Carolina, Mrs. LeRoy (Marie) Koopman, Colton, Mrs. Larry (Ada) Jorgenson, Trent, Mrs. Roger (Rose) Lance, Monument, Colorado, Mrs. David (Lynne) Antoine, Watertown; 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Marvin Bokker, Dell Rapids and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Brenda, three sisters and four brothers. Services were held Wednesday, August 13, 1997, at Zion Lutheran Church in Garretson with Rev. Timothy Lemme officiating. Organist was Karen Bufkin. Casket bearers were her 21 grandchildren.
