Description	:	Myrtle Lea Grinder, age 84, of St. Joe, Arkansas, went to be with Jesus Saturday, April 12, 2014. She passed away at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. Myrtle was born May 18, 1929, in Searcy County, Arkansas, the daughter of Major and Pearl (Wheeler) Wyatt. Along with her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her brothers, Troy Wyatt and Gene Wyatt; and her sisters, Fay Watts and Mildred Casey. Myrtle was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. Myrtle was born May 18, 1929, in Searcy County, Arkansas, the daughter of Major and Pearl (Wheeler) Wyatt. Along with her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her brothers, Troy Wyatt and Gene Wyatt; and her sisters, Fay Watts and Mildred Casey. Myrtle was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. She was a hugger and hugged everyone she knew that came to visit. She also had a second hug before loved ones left her home. Many hours were spent feeding all those who visited. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, rock collecting, and gardening. Her number one enjoyment in her life was her family. She never forgot a birthday, right down to the great-great-grandchildren. As long as she was able, Myrtle prepared Sunday dinner for anyone who dropped in. Myrtle was an angel on earth and will be greatly missed. Myrtle is survived by her husband of sixty seven years, Haskell Grinder, of Apple Ridge Nursing Home in Harrison; her sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Grinder and Rick and Tracey Grinder, all of St. Joe, Arkansas; and her daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Gary Millsap of St. Joe and Sue and Bobby Combs of Bergman, Arkansas. Myrtle is also survived by her sisters, Mary Jo Ussery of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Unice Lucy Ramey of St. Joe; her brothers, Elmer Wyatt and Donald Wyatt, both of St. Joe; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Open visitation. Graveside service is 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Love Cemetery, St. Joe, Arkansas, with Rev. James D. Smithson officiating. Myrtle's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills, PO Box 1927, Harrison, AR 72602. `
