Born at Lake Centre on February 26, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Bessie (Meisner) Nowe. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Conquerall Mills, as well as the Church Auxiliary. She was very active in all community events and gatherings. Born at Lake Centre on February 26, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Bessie (Meisner) Nowe. Surviving are her children, Allison (Elaine), New Cumberland; Verna (Judson), Leon (Dale), both of Lake Centre; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie E. Corkum; daughters, Yvonne and Florence; sister, Clara Joudrey. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today with funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, both in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial in Lake Centre Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
