She was buried in the Woodbine Cemetery. Myrtle L. Powley was born 4 Dec. 1891 to Horace M. and Elizabeth Binnall Powley at Woodbine. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, and a brother, Lynn. Surviving are her sister Mrs. Pearl B. Hutchinson of Omaha, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Buelah Powley of Woodbine, two nieces, Mrs. William Cushing and Mrs. Pat Kelly of Woodbine.
