Read More	MYRTLE McCRILL CALLED BY DEATH LAST THURSDAY Final Rites For Esteemed Akron Resident Held Sunday Morning Miss Myrtle McCrill passed away at her home in Akron, Thursday, December 14, 1939, at 6:15 p.m., after a brief illness of about one week, aged 65 years, 9 months and 13 days. Myrtle May McCrill was born March 1, 1874, in Ashland County, Ohio. In early youth she came to Iowa. She resided in Le Mars for about twenty years before coming to Akron six years ago. She has cared for and nursed her sister, Catherine Anderson, who has been in poor health the last few years. She was a member of the Methodist church, beloved and esteemed for her Christian character and her kind and pleasant personality. Miss McCrill leaves to mourn her departure two sisters, Catherine Anderson, of Akron, and Ethel Egli, of Bloomfleld, Nebr.; two brothers, Perry McCrill, of Akron, and- Elza McCrill, of Blencoe, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews. The relatives, have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. Brief services were held Sunday morning at 10 o 'clock at the Ross Funeral Home in Akron, conducted by Rev. W.H. Lease, pastor of the Methodist church. Miss Mary Burket and Mrs. Paul Stoel sang a hymn, and the accompaniment by Mrs. Lease. Accompanied by Mrs. Ethel Egli, Mr. and Mrs. Perry McCrill and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Small and family, the body was taken to Blencoe, Iowa, for burial in the Bleneoe cemetery.
