Description	:	Myrtle "Myrtie" May Yaroslaski, our prayer warrior, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 17, 2014. She was born on July 12, 1921, to Johnnie Alfred and Mary Rose Jones (Neumann) in Roundup. She was the tenth of 15 children. On June 29, 1947, she married the love of her life, Victor Vernon Yaroslaski. Shortly after they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Vic passed away. On June 29, 1947, she married the love of her life, Victor Vernon Yaroslaski. Shortly after they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Vic passed away. She was heartbroken, but to everyone's amazement, she carried on. One thing you always knew about Myrtie was that if you visited her, your name went on her prayer list! And pray she did. There were times she would stay up all night praying for someone. She loved "Her Jesus" and read "Jesus books" and her Bible every day. Her favorite Bible verse was Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." She had a smile that would light up the room and you just felt better seeing her. She is smiling down from Heaven now and is whole again — in mind, body and spirit. What better way to go than go to sleep and wake up in Heaven. Myrtie was quite the cook. Everyone loved her fried chicken and gravy and potato salad. To this day her Rice Krispie bars are thought of fondly. As a bride of two years, she was featured in the September 1949 Family Circle. She won 1st Prize for her Harvest Vegetable Chowder. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, all but one sister, and her grandson Davy. She is survived by her sister Ada McKeen; her children, Bob (Maria) Yaroslaski of Reno, Nev., Ida (Dave) Eichenlaub, of Missoula, Steve (Mayva) Yaroslaski, of Kelso, Wash., and Sandy (Chris) Brink, of Billings. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Monica (Jay), Dahlia (Jared), Darryl (Karen), Darren (Michelle), Leah (Corey), Beth (Matt), Nate (Rachel), Jenny (Jeremiah), Josiah, Ben (Emily) and Christian; 10 great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, DJ, Chad, Cole, Staci (Cody), Brandon (Brittany), Roger, Dylan, Anna and Sean, plus one due in June; and two great-great-grandchildren, Davy and Charlotte, plus one due in July. A special thank you goes to the staff at Aspen Meadows. They provided such loving, compassionate care for Myrtie. We are thankful that Myrtie was part of the Aspen Meadows family. Sandy would like to personally thank them for allowing her to be the daughter again, not the caretaker. That was a blessing that cannot be measured or expressed in words. The family would also like to thank Big Sky Senior Services for the care they provided for Myrtie and Vic during their days living at home. Her friend Marie was ever-faithful and came to see her nearly every week. The casket will be open for visitation on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, and prior to the service at church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 21, at Harvest Church-Lockwood. Lunch to follow. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens after the reception. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Sky Senior Services. Michelotti-Sawyers is assisting with arrangements, and remembrances may be shared with the family at www.michelottisawyers.com.
