Myrtle was born March 3, 1904 at West Point, NE to Herman and Alvina (Grunke) Graunke. Her early life was spent in West Point where she attended school, graduating from the West Point High School in 1921. She was united in marriage to Leo Turner in 1925. Read More	No. Loup Rite for Myrtle Turner Mrs. Myrtle S. Turner, 73, of North Loup died November 3, 1977 at the Valley County Hospital in Ord. Myrtle was born March 3, 1904 at West Point, NE to Herman and Alvina (Grunke) Graunke. Her early life was spent in West Point where she attended school, graduating from the West Point High School in 1921. She was united in marriage to Leo Turner in 1925. They made their home in North Loup for a few years while Leo was employed as a baker. They then moved to West Point where they operated a furniture store and a real estate business. Mr. Turner died in 1973. Myrtle returned to North Loup about two years ago and was a resident of NoLo Villa. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church at West Point. Survivors include a step-son, Glen Turner of Topeka, KS; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. Esther Schudel of North Loup; two brothers, Dean Graunke of Sheboygan, WI, Clarence of Cheney, WA and several nieces and nephews. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister. Memorials may be given in her memory to the NoLo Villa retirement village at North Loup. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 8, 1977 at 10 am at the United Methodist Church in North Loup with Rev. Earl Reed officiating. Graveside services were held Tuesday at 3 pm at the Mt.
