Description	:	Nancy Adele Hunter passed away the morning of June 21, 2005, at the age of 72. She was born August 14, 1932, to Lewis Bernard and Margaret Lucy Hunter in Eureka, CA. She went to Fortuna Union H.S. after attending Eureka Junior High. In 1948, she married Domenico Edward (Babe) Belli, Sr. They lived in a cabin on Babe’s parents’ ranch by the ocean where he worked with his father. Read More	Nancy Adele Hunter passed away the morning of June 21, 2005, at the age of 72. She was born August 14, 1932, to Lewis Bernard and Margaret Lucy Hunter in Eureka, CA. She went to Fortuna Union H.S. after attending Eureka Junior High. In 1948, she married Domenico Edward (Babe) Belli, Sr. They lived in a cabin on Babe’s parents’ ranch by the ocean where he worked with his father. They then moved twice before settling onto a dairy two miles from the ocean on Cannibal Island Road, and went through two major floods. Nancy and Babe had six children in their twenty-five years together. After their divorce, Nancy moved to Eureka where she worked as a care giver for the state and for several of her family members. The last eight months of her life, she lived in Medical Lake, Washington, with her oldest daughter. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, “Babe” Belli; two sons, Domenico Edward Belli, Jr. and Nicholas Aldo Belli; and a sister, Maxine Christiansen. She is survived by two sons, Paul (Karen) Belli of Fortuna, CA, Gary (Pat) Belli of Ferndale; and two daughters, Theresa (Doug) Severson of Medical Lake, WA, and Margaret Belli of Mad River, CA. Nancy is also survived by her brother, Jerry (Blythe); and her sister, Carolyn Meador. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Over the years, Nancy was Mom to more than her children, she loved helping people, was a great cook, and loved flowers. She enjoyed crafts such as creating distinctive items, such as jewelry boxes, crocheted pictures, etc. Her last favorite past time was reading maps, the National Geographic, adventure and travel magazines. A celebration of life will be held at the home of Jerry and Blythe Hunter, 5915 Walnut Drive, Eureka, at 11:00 a.m. Call Paul at 707-725-6594 for directions. No graveside services.
