Description	:	DENNISPORT — Nancy (Chase) Garfield, 82, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Dennisport, died Feb. 18, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dean Garfield. Nancy was born May 1, 1929, in Hyannis, attended Dennis Consolidated School and graduated from Yarmouth High School in 1947. She was a 12th generation Cape Codder, Mayflower descendant, past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Masona Chapter #134, South Dennis, a member of the D-Y Young Women's Club and was on the Dennis Police Department's Pistol Team in the 1960s. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dean Garfield. Nancy was born May 1, 1929, in Hyannis, attended Dennis Consolidated School and graduated from Yarmouth High School in 1947. She was a 12th generation Cape Codder, Mayflower descendant, past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Masona Chapter #134, South Dennis, a member of the D-Y Young Women's Club and was on the Dennis Police Department's Pistol Team in the 1960s. Nancy was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially with her cousins at their Stitch and Bitch Club. She loved to travel and write poems. Her sense of humor and jokes will be missed by all. Above all, her love for family is everlasting. She was the beloved mother of Joy (Danny) Tullos of South Yarmouth, Kay Dauphinais and Owen Thomas (Stephen) Dauphinais of South Dennis, and Lesley (Eric) Maker of Harwich; and stepmother of Vicki (Jack) Carroll of South Dennis and Terry (David) Dauphinais of Dennisport. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Beth Ann (Dauphinais) Selsor, and grandson David A. Dauphinais. Nancy was a cherished sister of Mahlon A. Chase of Bellevue, NB and Ann (John) Hill of Winter Park, Fla.; and sister-in-law of Kay (Phil) Colprit of Dalton, N.H. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held May 1, 2012, at Swan Lake Cemetery, Dennisport. Time to be announced at a later date.
