She also had a sister, Ora Lee Almond Reid, brother, Odell Almond, Brothers-In-Law Reece Honeycutt and Hollis Reid who preceded her in death. Barbee of Locust Daughter: Misti Dawn Barbee of Huntersville Granddaughters: Nickie Barbee Kluttz (Nick) of Concord, Kacie Barbee Stancil (Nick) Katie Barbee of Locust Jodie Barbee (Kyle) of Tampa, FL Laci Dawn Hart (Garrett) of Raleigh Great-grandchildren: Eden, Elyn, and Easton Kluttz Kinsley and Hadley Stancil Kayden Harrow Kamden Tillman Karma Foard Sisters: Frances Almond Huneycutt Pat Almond Osborne (Nathan) Brother: Michael Thomas Almond, all of Locust; many loving nieces and nephews. Since retiring, Nancy had a special bond with her sweet little doggies, Candi, Mama, and Charlie. Nancy's career as a professional business woman was a long and busy on beginning with a large Charlotte law firm. Then she became the first female Senior Vice President with First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo). From this position, she joined Chase Manhattan Bank of New York as a Vice President. She left that position to join her husband in the family business, Southern Services of Charlotte where she finally retired upon selling the business. A private memorial service is planned. Memorials may be made to Mission Baptist Church, Locust, NC. Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust is serving the Barbee family.
