The Osceola Sentinel, Osceola, Iowa June 30, 1910, Page 1 Nancy Duncan was born in Virginia, May 1, 1829, and departed this life June 25, 1910, being 81 years, 1 month and 25 days of age. In childhood she came with her parents to Michigan and then to Illinois, where she was united, in marriage to James G. Miller. To this union were born nine children, only two of whom are now living Mrs. Charles Harris at whose home she died, and Andrew J. Miller of Clarence, Missouri. She was preceded to the other world by her husband about fourteen years ago. In middle life she became a Christian and united with the church of Latter Day Saints, but in later life became a member of the Christian church in which faith she died. Adams County Free Press, Corning, Iowa July 16, 1910 Mrs. Nancy Duncan, a sister of George Duncan of this place, died at her home in New Virginia, Iowa, June 25, aged 81 years, 1 month and 25 days. She was born in Virginia and was married to Jas. G. Miller in Illinois. She was the mother of nine children, only two of whom are living.
