Mrs. Rogers was born February 17, 1921, in Florence, a daughter of Erwin Poston and Sue Stanley Poston. She was a graduate of Columbia College and was a retired School Teacher with the Williamsburg County School District. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Dasie Watson Sunday School Class. Read More	Nancy "Nano' Erwin Poston Rogers, 93, widow of Leonard Alton Rogers, died Friday, December 12, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Rogers was born February 17, 1921, in Florence, a daughter of Erwin Poston and Sue Stanley Poston. She was a graduate of Columbia College and was a retired School Teacher with the Williamsburg County School District. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Dasie Watson Sunday School Class. Her greatest accomplishment was the love and Godly heritage she gave to her family and friends. "Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised" (Proverbs 31:31). Lenard and Nancy were married June 17, 1943, and celebrated 41 years together. Their home was blessed with three sons, Erwin Alton (Pam) Rogers, Ralph Stanley (Karen) Rogers, Raymond Rhett (Cheryl) Rogers; a daughter, Nancy Rogers; seven grandchildren, Caroline R. (Heath) McCants, Rebecca Rogers Chris (Lynn) Bird, Stanton (Teresa) Rogers, Heather Rogers, Rhett Rogers, and Allie Rogers; and eleven great-grandchildren, Carli, Abbie, Jameson, Braydon, Alton, Kelsey, Megan, Stanton, McKenzie, Macie, and Alora. She was survived by a sister, Annie Sue Poston. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; two sons, Alton and Stanley; a daughter, Nancy; and two sisters, Betty P. Barth and Mary Elsie Poston. Graveside services, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, were 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
