Description	:	Nancy Finson, an old time resident of this city, passed away Monday afternoon as a result of paralysis with which she had been afflicted for several years. She was born at Hamilton, Canada, Dec 2, 1837, later moving to Cleveland, Ohio, where she was married to Allen A. Jasmer in 1854. Her husband died some years after and she came west to Missouri and in 1876 was married to Henry W. Finson. She had two sons and three daughters from her first marriage, Allen A. Her husband died some years after and she came west to Missouri and in 1876 was married to Henry W. Finson. She had two sons and three daughters from her first marriage, Allen A. Jasmer of Omaha, David G. Jasmer of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Chas. F. Pierce of Flanderau, S.D., Mrs. A.B. Watson and Mrs. H.A. Cheney of Creighton and two sons from her last marriage, Thomas O. Finson of Omaha and Elmer F. Finson of Los Angeles, Calif. She was a member of the Episcopal church for more than 50 years. She was a great grand niece of General Putman of Revolutionary fame. No needy person was ever turned from her door and she took a great interest in helping the down trodden. She was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in Greenwood cemetery, the service of the Episcopal church being performed by Rev. Reginold Crickmer of Niobrara. All of her children being present except her sons, Thomas and Elmer, who were unable to be present on account of sickness and distance.
