She had been ill about six months. She was born Aug. 5, 1882, north of Eddyville; the daughter of John and Sarah Foster. She was united in marriage to Clyde Noe Dec. 5, 1905 who preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1943. Also two grandsons preceded her in death, one in infancy and the other, Arden Lee Noe, May 20, 1951. She leaves behind eight children; Roy and Lewis of near Newton; Bernis Shahan of Eddyville; Bessie Vanderpol of Cedar Rapids; Mary Garber of Barnes City; Harold and Gerald, twins, Harold of Lime Springs, Gerald and Leslie of Eddyville; twenty four grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She is the last survivor of a family of eight children. She has been a true and faithful believer in her Heavenly Father and was ready to go when he called her home. She was a kind and patient mother who loved her family, her home and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her. Funeral services were held from the Christian Church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Wayne Kinion officiating. Burial was made in Columbia cemetery.
