Born October 25, 1933 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Joe Frank Godfrey and Effie Willard Godfrey. She was a member of Orchard Street Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Fred O. Lewis Jr. and wife Teresa of Shelby, NC; daughters, Lynne Lewis Seay and husband Dale of Duncan, Gwen Price and husband Larry of Inman; sister Gennie Simpson of Mayo; grandchildren, Carmen C. Milner and husband Kyle, Curtis O. Lewis and great-grandchildren, Megan, Campbell and AK. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother and four sisters. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee with the Revs. Preston Edmonds, Allen Elder and Al McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mobile Meals, P.O.
