Description	:	The Hawk Eye Nancy Harriett Pogemiller, 88, a resident of the Morning Sun Care Center, died Friday, May 22, at Burlington Medical Center. She was born June 25, 1903, at Morning Sun. Her parents were Joseph P. and Ida Blanche Faris Baird. She married Henry Earl Pogemiller on November 23, 1920, at Wapello. He died February 20, 1947. She had worked as a seamstress in the drapery department at Schramms and she was a member of the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian Church. Survivors include six daughters, Dorthy Griffin... Her parents were Joseph P. and Ida Blanche Faris Baird. She married Henry Earl Pogemiller on November 23, 1920, at Wapello. He died February 20, 1947. She had worked as a seamstress in the drapery department at Schramms and she was a member of the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian Church. Survivors include six daughters, Dorthy Griffin of New Orleans, Betty Harsh of Morning Sun, Mary Alice Witek of New Orleans, Norma Staley of Rogers, Arkansas, Earleen Henry of Orlando, Florida, and Joanne Moard of Bettendorf; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert and Paul Baird of Morning Sun, and Orville Baird of Michigan City, Indiana. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and five brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian Church, the Reverend Robert Schmidtberger officiating. Burial will be in the Sharon Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hagele-Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun. Memorials have been established for her church and the Morning Sun Care Center.
