Born in Indiana, she came to Letts Iowa with her parents when she was eight years of age. Despite her advanced age, she had been active until the last few years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Letts. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Stella Furnas of near Letts, Mrs. Gertrude Runyan of Muscatine, and Mrs. Phenia Epperly of Roseburg Ore; one son R. C. Fry of near Cranston, and a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The body is at the J. H. Collins funeral home, and will remain there until funeral services are conducted at 2 p.m. at the Letts Methodist church with the Rev. Benjamin Van Dyke officiating.
